Located in Osteen right off of S State Road 415, SunShine Ranch is 15 acres and full of different little critters including goats, chickens, turkeys, horses and many more. Describing this place is actually sort of tricky. They offer mini cabins on Airbnb, sell mini-pigs, hold gatherings for potluck dinners, yoga classes, meditation and other activities for kids and adults. From their website:
"We play with new ideas and new approaches. At SunShine Ranch we try to be innovative. We look for new ways to grow food in a more productive way. We experiment with new ideas to produce alternative energy.
We want to see future generations grow up with new possibilities. We produce the opportunities to become sustainable which means we don't take out more than we put back.
But the best way to learn about our Ranch is to come and visit us!"
From what I understand, you can visit during their open hours Wednesday - Sunday and just hang out with some of the animals or even buy some fresh eggs. If you're in the area, I think its worth a visit, and I'd love to go back and visit the little pigs again soon. Links to everything mentioned can be found at the bottom of this post!
Downtown Sanford has changed a lot in recent years. I was amazed to see so many new places opening there, including breweries, dessert shops and more. I'm excited to see how much this place continues to evolve since this once quiet area is turning into an up and coming hip spot to hang out.

(I have to mention, their listings are a bit confusing. It seems that multiple little cabins are pictured on the same listing as opposed to just one. We actually stayed in one, but I can't find the listing that features just that one. So I'm kind of unsure how this works, but I think they just may put you up in one of the cabins that are available at the time. This link is also just one of their many listings.)
